Meghan is thrilled to be back in her home market as a freelance reporter for KARE 11 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Earlier in her career, a 2 a.m. alarm was the norm as a morning anchor with CBS 58 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She started working in the Brew City two weeks into the pandemic, anchoring live newscasts from her home-turned-studio. While working at CBS 58, Meghan covered the first NBA title for the Bucks in 50 years, tornadoes, snowstorms, the Wisconsin State Fair and much more. She also produced and hosted “Racine & Me,” a weekly lifestyle show featuring all things fascinating in Racine County, Wisconsin.

Meghan is proud to have provided coverage earning top honors from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association 2020 Awards for Excellence contest in Best Specialty Programing, Best Coverage of Civil Discourse and Social Change and Best Use of Social Media.
Prior to working for CBS 58, Meghan anchored NBC15’s “The Morning Show” and was promoted to help launch a revamped newscast format that quickly reclaimed the title of top-rated morning newscast in the market.
While working for NBC15, Meghan covered the nationwide manhunt for Joseph Jakubowski, historic flooding in Dane County, Paradigm office shooting and the downtown Sun Prairie explosion. In addition, she reported from Panama City, Florida, following Hurricane Michael.
Before being promoted to mornings, Meghan worked on the other side of the news cycle as an evening anchor for “CW News at 9.” NBC15 launched the CW newscast in December 2016 and Meghan enjoyed taking on a new challenge and tackling the unique and rewarding experiences that come with starting a new newscast. As “CW News at 9” anchor, Meghan spearheaded a series as an MMJ reporter called “In Focus,” featuring people that inspire and inform across the Madison area.

Meghan earned a 2017 Golden Gavel Award of Commendation from the State Bar of Wisconsin for her continued coverage of Janesville Police Department’s mental health flagging system and a MBJA Award of Merit for best newscast in the first year of the “CW News at 9.”
Prior to living in Madison, Meghan was an anchor and MMJ reporter at KAAL in Rochester, Minnesota. There, she covered a wide variety of stories ranging from research on breakthrough cancer drugs and organ donation at Mayo Clinic to investigative pieces on home security camera hacking. In January 2015, Meghan anchored KAAL’s first HD broadcast from the station’s new Rochester studio. Meghan was also recognized by the Associated Press with a first place award in writing in 2015.

Originally from Minnesota, Meghan loves the Midwest. She started college at UW-Eau Claire and completed her degree summa cum laude from St. Cloud State University. During college, she ventured south and spent a year in Orlando, Florida, working as a dancer and character performer at Walt Disney World. While in Orlando, she also interned at WESH 2 News and later gained experience as an intern at KBJR in Duluth, Minnesota.
Meghan married her husband, Jake, in June 2022. The two postponed their wedding, because of the pandemic, so they found a project to keep busy in the meantime. A few months before their wedding, they completed a total renovation of a house built in 1910 in Crosby, Minnesota. Meghan and Jake love seeing it shine again as a vacation rental.

Meghan chose to pursue a career in television news because she loves people and storytelling. She cannot imagine a job that better combines the two. Thanks for visiting and please check back often as Meghan’s work is always evolving!
