A new year and a new blog! I’m thrilled to get this project rolling! I’ve been a morning anchor at CBS 58 in Milwaukee for almost two years and, prior to that, worked in news in Madison, Wisconsin, and Rochester, Minnesota.
When I’m not napping after work (my alarm goes off at 2 a.m.), I’m usually busy with with something wedding-related. My fiancé, Jake, and I are getting married this summer. Our reception venue is beautiful! It’s out in the country in southern Minnesota and has tons of opportunities for me to DIY all sorts of stuff (yay!).
On weekends, I’m usually up in northern Minnesota helping Jake renovate a home built around 1910. The house needs a ton of work and we’re going to bring it back to life as a vacation rental.
